A Fairy Story

Enslaving the mighty, what wonderous cave,
Riches beyond measure, for only the brave.
Sword in hand with no need of a shield,
No fight intended, desirous to yield.
Warmth in the darkness, cavern walls weeping,
The deeper he travels, heart and breath leaping.
and welcomed the mighty are drawn
Those not worthy, to be left here forlorn.
Pressing yet deeper to uncover the entry,
Claymore held forth spears the unseen sentry.
Stone becomes molten with the heat of creation,
The treasure beyond, sparks intense elation.
Tightly encompassed he surrenders his soul.
To be one with the orb, his ultimate goal
